SHS - 12 yr Reunion

A couple of weeks ago I discovered that a good friend from high school, Kai, moved out to the DC area. We became friends in 6th grade when her family moved from the city to the suburbs. She introduced me to Pearl Jam and eventually was the one that convinced me to run Cross Country our senior year in high school.

Our schedules finally matched and we went out for drinks and dinner last Friday. It was like we picked up right where we left off. We hadn't seen each other in 12 years and yet it was like nothing had changed (save the fact that we're now 12 years older, married and homeowners!).
